Volunteer Opportunities - Social Concerns

 

Tri-Parish Youth - Brings together the high school age youth of the three Sandusky parishes for faith, food, fun and service. There are monthly meetings, a four day YES program and other retreats. Contact John Collart.

Respect Life Committee - Helps educate the parish regarding issues that effect human life from conception to a natural death according to Church teaching. Meet once per month for an hour. Contact Pete and Shirley DuBois.

Community Supper Program - Prepares and serves food every Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. There are eight teams, working once every eight weeks. Teams work from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. There are also needs for bakers at home that bring in desserts each week. Contact Ray and Karen Bush.

Prayer Network – This group offers prayers as requested for the sick, the dying and special needs. Members pray in their own way and on their own schedule throughout the day. Contact Pauline Edens.

Ministry of Praise - This group of shut-ins have a special role of praying and offering their redemptive suffering for the needs of the parish. They are the "prayer warriors" of the parish. Contact Paul or Kathy Wiesler.
